After your pick up, we will be heading to the Historic Center of Mexico City where we will begin our journey walking from the Palace of Fine Arts to the Main Square of the City, admiring fantastic constructions of the glorious historic past of Mexico such as the Palace of Fine Arts itself, the Casa de los Azulejos and the Iturbide Palace among others that show a splendor of the wonderful colonial and modern Mexico.
Once we arrive at the Main Square we will visit the National Palace, one of the oldest governmental buildings in the world (1693) and we will appreciate inside the world famous Diego Rivera Murals; We will also have a panoramic view over the Templo Mayor, a sacred site of the Aztec culture based in Nueva Tenochtitlán and we will visit the incredible Metropolitan Cathedral built on a large Aztec temple and considered the largest in Latin America with more than 200 years of history.
Our tour continues with a panoramic view of Paseo de la Reforma to admire its monuments, then we will pass by Chapultepec Castle and then we will get to know one of the most exclusive areas of Mexico City.
Finally, we will arrive at the Museum of Anthropology and History, second in importance in the world and where tribute is paid to the indigenous Mexico. There our guide will show and explain the Mexica Room and then you will have free time to look around the different historical pieces such as the famous Aztec Calendar.
